I was able to reschedule my interview from December to the 13th of January. The interview was early in the morning and so it meant I had to book into an Ibis Hotel the day before and wake up early in the morning for my 9am interview! I felt my interview went okay, I stumbled on two out of six of the MMI questions and there was no way I contributed as much as I could have during the PBL session.. Which I assumed would be a medical scenario - how wrong was I! It was totally different and slightly threw me off, and with a combination of everyone talking over each other, not really gelling or pooling ideas together, I did my best and gave what valid points I could. I noticed the assessor picked up on this and agreed with the points I made, which I felt was a big confidence boost. In conclusion, I felt overall the interview could have gone better, so I was left feeling a little unsure of my performance and what it was indicative of.
But yesterday! A 16:42, I GOT AN OFFER for HYMS! I AM SO HAPPY!
Haha. I need a 2:1.. Let's hope I work work work work work!
